Great Book from a Great Guy!
I have not yet read this book so the five stars are for Tony himself. I am proud to say that I was one of his players/students. Tony is an inspirational coach, in soccer and life. Congrats on the book Tony.
TK is a first rate coach and mentor. His passion for the game, and those he instructs is infectious! I still have a passion and love of the game that he was instrumental in instilling.
Here is why this book is a must for a athlete/parent/coach looking for content beyond the X and Os, BECAUSE Tony Kees has lived and lives exactly the ideas and actions he has compiled for the readers.
This reading for the athlete and the parent and coach alike...to steer the athlete toward their own ability to self-determine and to support the parent and coach help their athlete through the very real challenges of youth sport engagement.
This is a soccer book, by an individual who can stand by everything he has written, but or more than that it is about being a child, an athlete, a young adult and a responsible individual within a broader community than just a team.
